The Good Ol' Days... with Ma and Pa

I was looking through some photos that my dad has recently scanned and sent to me. I found this one and just had to post it. These were certainly the "Good Ol' Days"!!

This years "Birthday Theme" @ work.... 08/26/07

Was "Burgers, Fries and Shakes". My boss (Sue) is really big on "themes" when giving gifts. She must have a room set up in her home with boxes for every theme possible - and shop all year long looking for things to add to each one. Below are all the gifts she gave me, displayed the best we could, and above was my birthday cake... YUP! It was chocolate with butter cream frosting, yummmmy... decorated like a HUGE burger!! It was the BEST!!! The purple and yellow flowers were also a gift from my friend JoAnna.... she knows I love purple!! My co-workers made this day extra special (as usual).... thanks so much!!

Personal Shower / Bachelorette Party 8/25/07

This past Saturday was the Personal Shower / Bachelorette Party I gave Becky. Everyone had a BLAST!! We dressed the Bride-to-Be up with a flashing tiara and a long white feather boa. We grilled burgers, had chips-n-dip, homemade salsa, and thanks to my wonderful mom... delicious potato salad and spaghetti salad. For dessert, we had chocolate cake with butter cream frosting.... my favorite...ummm, I mean the BRIDES favorite! We played "Who Knows the Bachelorette?", Word Scramble, and the best was BRIDAL PICTIONARY!! Oh-my-goodness.... we laughed so hard..... that game is THE BEST!! We didn't want it to end. HUGE THANKS to Sonya for all the hard work in helping to make this night go smoooooth for all involved!

So, yet another friend finds true love! Bill asked Becky (aka Erin) to marry him on August 14th, 2006. She's been on cloud nine ever since!! Originally, they set the wedding date for Sept. 27, 2008, but just this past May decided... why wait? So, they bumped the date up one whole year! Yup..... one month from today, Becky will be Mrs. William Cleary, and we'll be partying like its 1999!! =) I'm so excited... She asked me to be her Maid of Honor...... what a thrill to see my best friend for soooooooo many years finally tie the knot!! Love you girlfriend!!

These are pictures of the day Bec came over for "Show & Tell". She didn't leave out any details! How cool to be one of the first ones to see her ring and all the goodies that came with it!

There's not a lot I can say about Caleb... He kinda speaks for himself... (I couldn't resist that one). Anyone who has ever had the opportunity to meet him, knows he's a talker! Can you say "spoiled"? No, he's not a spoiled bird... =)

Here is the first picture of my little munchkin Lena that melted my heart. She just turned 3 years old on August 26th... yup, how crazy is that... we both share the same birthday... just another reason I had to have her! The name her breeder gave her started with an "L" (how cool), and she was born on my birthday. We were made for each other! I couldn't have ordered a more perfect angel!

Here she is now... the BIG Three years old!
